Hello everybody, I just played something with Visual Studio for Mac and could create a first console application. Unfortunately, I find in the folder '/ Bin / Debug' or '/ bin / release' is only a 'test.exe' file. Is there a Possibility to create an app for Mac OS X that I can use for testing on other Mac Computers or send to a friend? If you’re using the Mac keyboard, you’ll want to change the function key behavior so the F1-F12 keys work correctly in Visual Studio. Hi Thommy, I think you have created a console project for.net core, in my Mac I have encountered the same issue as yours. And in Windows OS, the console application could also not be built as.exe file, it is.dll file too. But we could run it with command line (dotnet command) in windows. Please refer to the following step: 1). Open the command line for VS2015: 2). Type dotnet yourconsole.dll, please refer to the following screenshot: You could try above steps in Mac to see whether it is works.
